After Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Brasov earlier this month, Uber has entered the fourth Romanian city, Timisoara.
With over 140,000 users, Romania is the second market in Central and Eastern Europe, after Poland, where Uber has over 300,000 users in nine cities.
“Cities continue to advance, and mobility options have remained the same. With Uber, people have one more alternative to get home safely, to work or to discover the city, if they are visiting. Timisoara will be host to hundred thousands tourists in the upcoming years – offering a modern and digital service, we want to bring our contribution to a dynamic city, connected and full of life, ready for 2021,” Nicoleta Schroeder, Uber Romania General Manager said.
First-time users can benefit from a free trip with a value of up to RON 30.
