Street Delivery 2019 — Poetry is in the street! – June 14-16 @ Arthur Verona Street

The 14th edition of Street Delivery Bucharest is focused on inspiration expressed through art, words, design, architecture, through daily poetry, literary geographies and city metaphores. You’ll see ideas for a friendlier city, installations, workshops, debates, films, concerts and street art.

Telekom Electronic Beats Festival – June 13-16 @ Expirat Halele Carol, Wolff Platform

Besides all the cool bands and DJs you can see, the festival will also integrate a Lifestyle Market during the day, where artists will sell their creations of all kinds – fashion, design, art, and many others. There will also be a pop-up store by German music label Kompakt.

TIFF 2019 Retrospective – June 11-16 @ Cinema Elvire Popesco 

A selection of almost 20 films from the Transilvania International Film Festival will be shown in Bucharest this week, including a kids’ selection as part of EducaTIFF Bucharest 2019. Some of the most notable films include: Transilvania Trophy winner – Monos (d. Alejandro Landes); Public’s Choice Award winner – Problem child/Systemsprenger (d. Nora Fingscheidt); Best Director winner – Queen of hearts (d. May el-Toukhy).

European Film Festival – until June 23 @ various locations

The 23rd edition of the European Film Festival will show over 55 films, documentaries and shorts, at the following locations: Cinema Elvire Popesco, Cinema Muzeul Taranului, Cinema PRO, Cinemateca Eforie, the Hungarian Institute in Bucharest, the Czech Centre, Goethe-Institut, Instituto Cervantes, European Public Space.

The festival provides a platform to understand modern society and answer the question “Where is Europe really headed?” Film screenings will also be accompanied by meetings with cinematographers and actors, concerts, debates, film workshops, book launches and other special events.

Street Food In The Park – Summer Edition – June 14-15 @ Park Lake Shopping Center

In the mood for some delicious treats and some quality outdoor time? Don’t miss the summer edition of Streetfood in the Park – there will be dozens of food trucks to choose from, and the vibe will be upgraded with good music by The Motans (June 14), Suie Paparude (June 15) and Mihail (June 16). And it’s right in the middle of one of the best parks in Bucharest (IOR), so you can take a walk around the lake and enjoy the cooler temperatures of the night.
