Razvan Ionescu, the former B2B marketing manager of Telekom Romania, is the new marketing director of real estate developer Impact Developer & Contractor SA.

In his new role, Ionescu aims to accelerate the integration of technological innovation in real estate, including through digitalization and the inclusion of Smart Home and Smart City technologies in the Greenfield and Luxuria residential projects.

Before his arrival at Impact, Razvan Ionescu worked in the telecommunications industry for 14 years, where he had several management positions, including Business Segment Marketing Director, M&A Strategy Director or Regulatory Affairs Director. He is a graduate of the Bucharest Polytechnic University and of the National School of Political and Administrative Studies.

“It is an honor and, at the same time, a challenge to begin my activity in the real estate sector in a top developer’s team. I am eager to work with experienced industry professionals along whom I can contribute to the company’s growth. My priorities for the following period will be to create and implement individual marketing strategies for Impact’s residential compounds, which will be adapted to the unique positioning of each project and buyer target,” said Ionescu.

Impact is owned by businessman Gheorghe Iaciu and it was the first 100 percent private real estate company in the post-communist period, with 27 years of experience in the field. The company focuses on large-scale real estate developments, and its largest project is currently Greenfield Baneasa in District 1 of Bucharest, where over 2,300 homes have been built of the planned 6,000 units.

This year, Impact entered the premium segment through its own Bergamot Developments, by starting construction on the Luxuria Domenii Residence project, the newest premium residential project in the north of Bucharest, which will include 630 luxury apartments by 2020.

Since 1991, Impact has developed 17 residential compounds in Bucharest and in other parts of the country, totaling over 450,000 sqm and 4,000 delivered units.
