The new Samsung Galaxy Note 9. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it

Korean manufacturer Samsung presented its newest Galaxy Note 9 range. No big changes for the hardware, but the levels of the memory and autonomy are larger. Galaxy Note 9 has a 6.4 inch Super AMOLED screen with 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution, the largest screen of any smartphones in Samsung’s phablet series.

At the core of the new device is the Exynos 9810 Octa chipset for Europe and most of the Asian countries, Snapdragon 845 for markets like the United States and China. The internal memory is 128 GB or 512 GB, depending on the version.

Along with a memory card that can also reach 512 GB, Note 9 can add up to 1 TB of storage capacity. The 128 GB version will have 6 GB of RAM and the version with 512 GB of internal space will provide 8 GB of RAM.

Samsung says that the Galaxy Note 9 has an one-day autonomy, thanks to the 4,000 mAh battery, but also the weight of the phone reach at 201 grams. The smartphone has two 12 MP cameras. One of them has dual aperture f / 1.5 – 2.4 and 26 mm focal length, while the other one has an aperture f / 2.4 and a focal length of 52 mm.

The cameras of Note 9 can shoot in QHD format with 60 frames per second, but also in slow motion, with 240 frames per second at full HD resolution.

The Flagship uses a USB-C port for data and power connection, the 3.5 mm audio output is present.

The waterproof smartphone works with version 8.1 of Android and will be available in four color variants Metallic copper, Lavender purple, Ocean blue, Midnight black.

Samsung decided to raise the prices for the Note 9. The 128GB version of the storage will cost IN US USD 1,000, while the 512 GB will reach a price of USD 1,250 and it will be available since August 24.
