SanaGout, the company specialized in catering and corporate events, closed 2017 with a turnover of EUR 300,000, an year-on-year growth by 20 percent. The development engine of the business was represented by the corporate programs of lunch delivery to the employees from Bucharest companies, a segment which in 2017 represented 50 percent of the firm’s activity.
Last year there was an increase in the company’s turnover due to the Romanian employees’ interest in well-being programs for employees. Thus, the company served by 20 percent more corporate programs of lunch delivery for employees than in 2016, an emphasize in customized and healthy menus.
„For any company it’s very important to have healthy and motivated employees. The studies show that the employees who have a healthy lifestyle are by 30 percent more productive than the others, have more energy and a better health. And food has an extremely important role,” said Denisa Gradeanu director SanaGout.
„More an more companies offer free lunches to their employees to attract more competitive people, so that lunch is a salary benefit more and more searched by millenials. Studies show that 50 percent of the employees are more enthusiastic to accept a new job if the salary package includes breakfast and/or lunch,” continued Gradeanu.
All corporate programs are made together with a nutritionist or a fitness trainer, according to the objectives that each company wants to reach.
For 2018 the development plans include the increase in the number of companies that offer breakfast or lunch to the employees, but also partnerships in retail area with delicacy and bakeries.
