Starting February 1, Daniela Popescu has joined Colliers International Romania as associate director in the office department, after 12 years of activity in the company.
Popescu was part of the residential department and afterwards in the consultancy division and starting 2012 she has taken over the position of head of research, being involved in different analysis, reports and forecasts on the Romanian real estate market. In the last two years she has been dedicated exclusively to the commercial spaces market, and as associate director in the retail department, she collaborated with most of the big owners, as well as with the main tenants on the market.
„Two years ago I considered that, after 10 years of consultancy and research, it was the moment to join the leasing team, more exactly in the retail department, in a key period. The transactions successfully closed, including for retail spaces in office buildings, made me continue the consultancy and brokerage activity in the office department, in which I’ve worked intensively since the research period,” said Popescu.
„The office market is in a historical moment, where there is a need for specialists capable to create complete solutions for clients, whose demands are becoming more and more complex. This is why Dana, with a wide experience on different market segments, joining the team is a change that shows the importance that Colliers gives to office sector,” said Sebastian Dragomir, director of the office department in Colliers International Romania.
In 2017 the Bucharest office market registered deliveries of over 120,000 sqm, so that the overall modern spaces stock reached close to 2.3 million sqm.
