The Bucharest Christmas Market continues until December 27, the event organized by City Hall in partnership with Creart, its own cultural institution.  The investment was RON 7.2 million in 2016 (source: and RON 1.5 million spent on Christmas decorations – little houses, ice rink, nativity scene (source: Stirile ProTV), RON 2,500-6,000 participation tax for vendors in 2016; Vendors selected through contest. There were over 100 exhibitors and a Christmas tree of 30 meters high.

The entrance is free to the ice rink.

Over 3 million Christmas lights decorated the city in 2016.
